Holy Family School is a co-education English medium school, by the sisters of the Congregation of the Holy Family.
The Congregation of Holy Family is founded by St. Mariam Thresia and Venerable Fr. Joseph Vithayathil. The school is established for Christian minority of Bihar state. It is governed by the Poreyahat Holy Family Society which is a religious and charitable organization registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860. The Society aims at inculcating in the students the knowledge of true God, a spirit of initiative and responsibility, enables them to be spiritually oriented, morally upright, intellectually well informed, socially concerned, nationally conscious, emotionally balanced and physically well developed. They are also taught to appreciate and respect various cultures.
